Login and Registration

I’ve lost my password!
No worries.  Your password can be recovered by going to the login page and clicking I forgot my password.  Enter your registered email address and your password will be sent to you.

How do I change my password?
Select edit at the top right-hand corner of the screen beside your username.  The Edit Your Profile menu will appear.  Select the Sign-In Information tab and select Change Password.

How do I change my Email Address or Username?
You will need to reach out to the moderator to change your username or password.  They can be reached at Rebecca@EntergyPluggedIn.com


Surveys and Research Activities

Why haven't I received any activities recently?
If a month passes and you have not received any emails from us, don't worry.  Sometimes, several weeks might go by where we are not fielding any new activities.  If, however, it has been more than two months and you have not heard from us, please feel free to send us an email just to verify that we still have your most up-to-date contact information. 

What if I have trouble accessing a survey link that the Entergy Plugged In Panel has emailed to me?
Here are a few things to try: copy and paste the address into your browser instead of clicking on it, check your security settings to make sure your computer can accept our links, press 'Ctrl' as you click on the link to make sure it isn't being blocked by pop-up blocker, and as a last resort, try accessing the link from your email on a different computer, such as a family member or friend’s, or perhaps the library or a school.  Sometimes just trying again later can also do the trick.  If none of these things solves your problem, you can contact the Entergy Plugged In Panel Moderator.



What is a Moderator?
The moderator, Rebecca or Scott, is an individual whose job it is to look after the running of the Panel from day to day.  Moderators will provide general email updates about Panel activities, answer questions, and more.

What if I don't see emails from the Entergy Plugged In Panel in my inbox?
This usually happens when an email program decides our emails are bulk or spam mail.  It may boot them into that folder in your inbox, and you never see them.  To keep this from happening, add our email address to your email address book as an accepted email, and your inbox should recognize our mail and let it through (and don't worry about being bombarded; you usually won't receive more than an email per week for the Entergy Plugged In Panel).



What do I need to know about the Points System?

Participating in site-sponsored activities (surveys, online discussions, and other research-related programs) can earn you points towards Amazon.com gift cards.  Points are redeemed at a conversion rate of 10 points to $1.  Generally, activities will reward between 5-100 points ($0.50-10.00), but could potentially be worth even more in some cases.  You must earn at least 50 points to be eligible for redemption. Not all activities will be worth points, but the majority will be.  You can continue to earn points towards Amazon.com gift cards indefinitely, assuming you have an active membership in the Community.

In order to redeem your points, you will have to click on the "Redeem" button on the home page and complete the process.

What do I need to know about receiving incentives for a paid activity?

You will be paid in the form of Amazon gift cards. These gift cards will be sent from the email reward@virtualrewardcenter.com, also known as the "Virtual Reward Center." make sure to add this email to your "safe senders" list to keep your gift cards from being sent to your spam folder. 

What are the steps I take to redeem my Amazon gift card?

Step 1: Open the email from reward@virtualrewardcenter.com

Step 2: Click the "Redeem My Reward" button to go to the Virtual Reward Center

Step 3: Click the "Activate My Reward" button on the Virtual Reward Center page

Step 4: Highlight and copy (ctrl/command + C) your Amazon.com code, and click the "Go to Your Account" button

Step 5: Paste (ctrl/command + V) your code in the "claim code box" to add it to your Amazon.com account

At this point your gift card is activated and you can start shopping!

Please complete these steps upon receipt of the Amazon.com gift card code. By adding the code to your Amazon account, you can use it at any time or increase your balance with subsequent earning. Having the code in your Amazon.com account ensures that the code has been claimed and will not be lost in your inbox.

As always, be sure to check your spam folder if you did not receive your gift card or email rebecca@entergypluggedin.com. There is also a help button in the Virtual Reward Center should you have any technical difficulties!
